August 3, 2012 UPDATE: After some thought, I’ve decided to take down this blog post.  The High Voltage situation has long since passed, and Jasmine has shown no sign of reappearing, so I see no need to continue to have a drama-related post on my blog.  Rock, Roll, Glam! has always focused first and foremost on the products, not the drama, and I’d like to keep it that way! :) If you’re curious about what happened, you can still find the details on other blogs.  Thank you and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for sharing your experience and spreading the word. From the snippets I’ve heard, this is pretty messy. I’ve never purchased from this company in the past and will not be buying from them in the future.

I think I have found Jasmine’s new business. She’s now “Laura” with Unbound Eden Cosmetics

The lip swatches look all too familiar

[IVY EDIT: The owner of Unbound Eden has confirmed that she is not in fact Jasmine. If you look at the shop, there are too many differences (photography, copy, overall branding style, etc.) for this to be viably true, anyway.]

Hi guys, this is Laura from Unbound Eden Cosmetics. I’m getting some traffic to my store from the link you posted above and I just wanted to clarify that I am not.. well, anyone else! I’m not sure who you think I am, but I live just outside Chicago, I’m a licensed cosmetologist in Illinois, a by-commission illustrator, and I’m brand new in the indie makeup world. Please do not let someone else’s reputation deter you from checking out my business!

    :)
