Day 22: What kind of eyeshadow do you like? (cream, matte, powder, sheer, or shimmer eye shadows?)

I’m definitely a powder eyeshadow person, mostly because cream doesn’t work well with my eye shape.  I like both matte and shimmer shadows, though I lean towards mattes because they’re easier for me to work with in looks.

Day 23: Favourite eye make up look?

A classic smoky eye or/with winged cat liner. Most of my looks are variations on these two.

Day 24: Cream, liquid or gel eyeliner?

I like the slip and pigmentation of gel/cream liner the most, though it’s hard to find a good one at a reasonable price.  I also like gel liners in pencil form.  Liquid liners have great pigmentation and wear, though they’re also the most difficult for me to use since it requires absolute precision, and it can be frustrating for me to achieve with my uneven lids. So really for all of them, there’s a bit of give-and-take with me.

Day 25: Do you spend a ton of money on makeup?

Definitely more than I’d like to admit! In fact, have to try to cut down my spending in the next few months just because I have so much already.  It’s hard for me to resist picking up an item when I read about it online.  In short, beauty blogs are enablers.

Bonus Question: What’s your Christmas look, if any?

I’m wearing a simple but festively sparkly smoky eye using Black Rose Minerals eyeshadow in Runes, Concrete Minerals eyeshadow in Ruse, and L’oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Eternal Black over Kiss My Sass Eye Primer in Shimmer. I have Maybelline Master Precise liquid liner in Black on my upper lash line, NYX Slide-On Pencil in Tropical Green on the lower lash line and Inglot Matte #353 under my brow as a highlight.
